The Delta 8 Cold Infusion Process
The introduction of the cold infusion process has been a major game changer when it comes to treating CBD hemp flower strains with Delta 8 distillate. As the name “cold infusion” implies, instead of heating the Delta 8 distillate to a level that allows the oil to flow smoothly, we freeze the distillate until it is completely solid. We then pulverize the frozen Delta 8 distillate into a powder and toss it into a container with buds from the chosen hemp flower strain. This is then vigorously agitated so that the powdered Delta 8 THC distillate evenly coats the entire flower, all the way down to the stem.
This method avoids the difficulty of the heated treatment process, which involves maintaining a constant temperature warm enough to allow the distillate to be sprayed evenly across all the plant material. Even when sprayed well, the distillate tends to stay on the surface plant material instead of spreading into the numerous nooks and crannies found on a typical hemp bud.
The end result of the cold infusion treatment process is a purer and truer blending of the Delta 8 THC compound with the cannabinoids contained in the hemp flower strain, all performed without the use of any solvents.

I’ve been buying this particular sub-strain for a year now. I absolutely love it. Despite the name I don’t really see where the “Octane” part of the name comes from. This variety comes in smelling so pungently skunky sometimes that it actually smells sweet. When smoked there’s no “gas” taste that certain sub-strains have. It’s also not very herby. The taste is full bodied and is reminiscent of pretzels or some other baked/toasted good. It’s VERY good as a spiff W/ high quality tobacco, or if mixed W/ Game Green cigarillo tobacco. This one has got to be one of my favorites.
As far a a “high” goes, this bad boy does exactly what I personally need it to. It’s a very mellow feel, like “weed-lite” it’s by no means potent. That’s not what I’m going for. It’s just nice, no hunger and calm.

The internal humidity in the package was perfect. The product itself was still soft and sticky. The terpines were coming through in a very rich full bodied smell. The flavor of the raw flower itself has a nice spicey lemony flavor, and I know that if I decided to use it as a spice on a lemon pepper fish with a Burre Blanc sauce that the flavor would pair beautifully.
The effect is nice, a very subtle calming effect. Im mixing it it 1/2 and 1/2 with honey flavored tobacco and the flavor is wonderful. Couldn’t be happier, you guys did a phenomenal job!
