About Sour Brulee Delta 8 Flower
This classic hybrid offers a beautiful presentation and delivers amazing flavors. But of greatest importance, it provides noticeable and much-appreciated effects! This particular cultivar seemed to absorb the Delta 8 distillate quite efficiently, resulting in a high concentration of that psychoactive compound!
Sour Brulee Delta 8 Flower Terpene Profile
We understand the importance and value of the terpenes found within each cultivar we grow. At maturation, hemp plants produce many compounds. The key compounds are cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, THC, etc.) and terpenes. Each hemp cultivar produces its own blend of terpenes that add aromas and flavoring. This is referred to as its terpene profile.
Our lab reports include a full analysis of the terpenes present in each hemp flower cultivar we grow. You can find the detailed terpene report in the above image gallery. We also provide below a summary of the terpenes produced by this Sour Brulee Hemp Flower cultivar.
There are 5 major terpenes with 14.82mg per gram of aromatic compounds in this Sour Brulee CBD hemp flower cultivar. They are:
- Terpinolene (5.46mg/g)
- β-Caryophyllene (3.44mg/g)
- Guaiol (2.31mg/g)
- β-Myrcene (1.89mg/g)
- Limonene (1.72mg/g)

Sour Brulee CBD Hemp Flower Organically Cultivated at Fern Valley Farms in Oregon; Delta 8 Distillate
About Delta 8
As with all Delta 8 products we offer, we urge you to practice extra caution particularly with the first use of any new product that contains the Delta 8 compound. We strongly recommend that you consume this product in very small doses (as compared to your usual consumption practices for this CBD flower strain).
While Delta 8 THC does not produce effects as pronounced as its counterpart, Delta 9 THC, the Delta 8 THC compound can still produce a mild degree of psychotropic effects. The addition of Delta 8 THC to this Sour Brulee CBD flower cultivar will not only enhance or amplify the effects you normally enjoy when consuming this strain but can include other effects, including psychotropic reactions or experiences.
(To better educate yourself about Delta 8 THC, we recommend our blog article “Investigating Delta 8 THC” which explores this new compound in much greater detail.)
The Delta 8 Cold Infusion Process
The introduction of the cold infusion process has been a major game changer when it comes to treating CBD hemp flower strains with Delta 8 distillate. As the name “cold infusion” implies, instead of heating the Delta 8 distillate to a level that allows the oil to flow smoothly, we freeze the distillate until it is completely solid. We then pulverize the frozen Delta 8 distillate into a powder and toss it into a container with buds from the chosen hemp flower strain. This is then vigorously agitated so that the powdered Delta 8 THC distillate evenly coats the entire flower, all the way down to the stem.
This method avoids the difficulty of the heated treatment process, which involves maintaining a constant temperature warm enough to allow the distillate to be sprayed evenly across all the plant material. Even when sprayed well, the distillate tends to stay on the surface plant material instead of spreading into the numerous nooks and crannies found on a typical hemp bud.
The end result of the cold infusion treatment process is a purer and truer blending of the Delta 8 THC compound with the cannabinoids contained in the hemp flower strain, all performed without the use of any solvents.
