The Delta 8 Cold Infusion Process

The introduction of the cold infusion process has been a major game changer when it comes to treating CBD hemp flower cultivars with Delta 8 distillate. As the name “cold infusion” implies, instead of heating the Delta 8 distillate to a level that allows the oil to flow smoothly, we freeze the distillate until it is completely solid. We then pulverize the frozen Delta 8 distillate into a powder and toss it into a container with buds from the chosen hemp flower cultivar. This is then vigorously agitated so that the powdered Delta 8 THC distillate evenly coats the entire flower, all the way down to the stem.

This method avoids the difficulty of the heated treatment process, which involves maintaining a constant temperature warm enough to allow the distillate to be sprayed evenly across all the plant material. When sprayed, the distillate tends to stay on the surface plant material instead of spreading into the numerous nooks and crannies found on a typical hemp bud.

The end result of the cold infusion treatment process is a purer and truer blending of the Delta 8 THC compound with the cannabinoids contained in the hemp flower cultivar, all performed without the use of any solvents.

    I love every product I’ve ever ordered from FVF but these Trifecta Moon Rocks (Sativa) were a bit of a disappointment. I use it to top off a bowl packed with regular CBD bud and smoke from an ice filled bong that I clean daily and it still makes me cough my ass off. The ones from my order also looked a bit different from the product images and I thought the Delta8 would be more visible. The effects are for sure still there but I will stick with the D8 Meteorites from now on. They are only a few dollars more and they are amazing and you should definitely check them out.

    My packet was missing a lot of the keif, the buds were only very lightly dusted. But it still the equivalent of being strapped to a Saturn 5 and being part of the Apollo program. Even got to fist bump Jesus on the way there. Great for after a hard day at work and you just want to relax, sit on the porch and play guitar. Still can’t get through a full bowl, so my advice is to only fill half the bowl, then take a hit about every three min or so. Has a definite creeper effect. Great to help me unwind and get sleep. Use in moderation, both in quantity and sessions, and a little bit will last you a long time. Most enjoyable with a good glass bowl, that way you can savor the outstanding flavor, and aroma. For a really out of this world experience try mixing it with cbd flower/shake. So 1/2 a bowl of cbd on the bottom and 1/2 a bowl of the moon rocks on top. Definitely will order more.
    Can’t give it enough stars. FVF fan for life.

    It would be better enjoyed if it didn’t absorb the “flavor and smell” of the large and completely unnecessary moisture preserving packet that came loose in the box. I don’t appreciate my moonrocks tasting like how aloe vera sunburn gel smells.
