About Lemon Octane HHC Flower
This Lemon Octane HHC Flower offers you outstanding flavor and potent wellness benefits! The original cultivar resulted from combining our always-popular Bubba Kush with a lesser-known comforting strain (Lemon Snow). The flavoring resulting from this unique pairing is an unusual blend of citrus and diesel with a foresty undertone.
Whether you need to get things done or want to lay back and watch the clouds float by, this Lemon Octane HHC Flower could be the one to make it happen!
This Lemon Octane HHC Flower is an excellent Indica dominant Hybrid that deserves a special place in your wellness collection.
Don’t be surprised if you start feeling relief along with a mild headrush on your first inhale. For one thing, the citrus taste blending with a splash of diesel will wake up your taste buds with a unique but compelling tang. While you’re still appreciating the unusual flavoring, those terpenes that worked together to form that rare flavor are now at work relieving chronic and acute discomforts and letting relaxation take hold.
Even though this is an Indica dominant hybrid, you will be pleased to realize that your thoughts come smoothly and clearly; if you have some tasks to complete, the stress behind them seems to wash away as you gear up and focus on the job at hand.
And if your work is already behind you, fantastic! Put on some music, grab a book, paintbrush, or spatula, and get creative… or just lay back and enjoy the calming and soothing effects this Lemon Octane HHC Flower delivers!
Recommended Times for Usage
As an Indica dominant hybrid strain, most sessions will happen in the evenings. But if stress builds during the day and you need some relief without feeling foggy and unclear, this Lemon Octane HHC Flower can do the job!
Lemon Octane HHC Flower Details
While the addition of the HHC compound may slightly change the look and feel of this Lemon Octane, you will find the following description of the original, untreated cultivar to still be reliable:
If asked to describe these buds in one word, many would say, “Beautiful!”
Each bud you pull from your package is consistently thick and displays a deep green hue, with a riot of dark-red pistils breaking through every possible flower opening. Add to that an incredible silvery frosting of trichomes, and you almost want to cry thinking about grinding these down to a texture suitable for smoking or vaping.
But rest assured, there will only be tears of joy and giggles of anticipation once a bud hits the blades of your grinder. Give it two or three full turns and what comes pouring out is an amazingly clean shredding of your beautiful buds, with the rich terpenes hitting your olfactory senses like an aromatic tsunami. Perfectly textured for rolling joints, filling pipe bowls, or stuffing vape chambers, prepare yourself for optimal effects and a highly-pleased palate!
Lemon Octane HHC Flower Smell and Taste
While the addition of the HHC compound may slightly modify the smell and taste of this Lemon Octane, you will find the following description of the original, untreated cultivar to still be reliable:
There’s nothing genteel or delicate about this Lemon Octane CBD hemp flower strain. As already mentioned, you get solid buds rich in cannabinoids and oozing with a variety of aromas thanks to the unusual and effective collection of terpenes contained within those buds.
A slight squeeze to a bud will shower your nostrils with an amazing fragrance of citrus and diesel working together. Beneath it is a fabulous earthy-green balm that hints at the relaxation and relief soon to come.
And if you think smelling unsmoked buds knocks you out, wait until that material is rolled up or placed into a pipe or vaporizer. Each draw pulls in that gassy citrus tang followed by a forest green flavor on the exhale. Regular consumers of our Bubba Kush cannot help but recognize suggestions of that special taste combined with the alluring diesel smack; it’s a hypnotic taste that calls you back for more.
Lemon Octane HHC Flower Terpene Profile
We understand the importance and value of the terpenes found within each cultivar we grow. At maturation, hemp plants produce many compounds. The key compounds are cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, THC, etc.) and terpenes. Each hemp cultivar produces its own blend of terpenes that add aromas and flavoring. This is referred to as its terpene profile.
Our lab reports include an analysis of the major terpenes present in each hemp flower cultivar we grow. You can find the detailed terpene report in the above image gallery. We also provide below a summary of the terpenes produced by this Lemon Octane Hemp Flower cultivar.
There are 3 major terpenes with 11.25mg per gram of aromatic compounds in this Lemon Octane CBD hemp flower cultivar. They are:
- β-Myrcene (5.73mg/g)
- β-Caryophyllene (3.49mg/g)
- Limonene (2.03mg/g)
Lemon Octane CBD Hemp Flower Organically Cultivated at Fern Valley Farms in Oregon; HHC Distillate
The HHC Treatment Process
When it comes to effective treatment of our premium hemp flower cultivars with a distillate of HHC, we quickly learned that the most efficient and thorough treatment can be attained through a cold infusion process. As the name “cold infusion” implies, we freeze the HHC distillate until it is completely solid. We then pulverize the frozen HHC distillate into a powder and toss it into a container with buds from the chosen hemp flower cultivar. This is then vigorously agitated so that the powdered HHC distillate evenly coats the entire flower, all the way down to the stem.
This approach results in a thorough coating of the HHC distillate throughout the treated plant matter. More significantly, the end result of the cold infusion treatment process is a purer and truer blending of the HHC compound with the cannabinoids contained in the hemp flower cultivar, all performed without the use of any solvents.
HHC Has Potent Psychoactive Properties!
As with all HHC products we offer, we urge you to practice extra caution particularly with the first use of any new product containing the HHC compound. We strongly recommend that you consume this product in very small doses (as compared to your usual consumption practices for this CBD flower cultivar). Please wait at least 30 minutes between each dosage session.
While HHC does not produce effects as pronounced as its counterpart, Delta 9 THC, the HHC compound can still produce psychotropic effects. The addition of HHC to different CBD flower cultivars will not only enhance or amplify the effects you normally enjoy when consuming that cultivar but can include other effects, including psychotropic reactions or experiences.
(To better educate yourself about HHC, we recommend our blog article “What Is HHC?” which explores this new compound in much greater detail.)
*Understanding HHC Lab Reports
Consumers interested in studying accompanying lab reports for our HHC-treated hemp flower cultivars may notice two stereoisomers connected to the HHC compound. On the lab reports, these isomers are identified as:
- Hexahydrocannabinol (S Isomer) (9s-HHC)
- Hexahydrocannabinol (R Isomer) (9r-HHC)
It is important to note that both isomers are potentially psychoactive. When inhaled, only the 9r-HHC isomer is psychoactive. The 9s-HHC isomer is NOT psychoactive when inhaled. (When ingested, both isomers are psychoactive.)
Consequently, we only include the amount of the 9r-HHC isomer when reporting HHC potency for our treated cultivars.
