About Sour Brulee HHC Flower

This classic hybrid offers a beautiful presentation and delivers amazing flavors. But of greatest importance, it provides noticeable and much-appreciated effects! This particular cultivar seemed to absorb the HHC distillate quite efficiently, resulting in a high concentration of that psychoactive compound!

Sour Brulee HHC Flower Terpene Profile

We understand the importance and value of the terpenes found within each cultivar we grow. At maturation, hemp plants produce many compounds. The key compounds are cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, THC, etc.) and terpenes. Each hemp cultivar produces its own blend of terpenes that add aromas and flavoring. This is referred to as its terpene profile.

Our lab reports include a full analysis of the terpenes present in each hemp flower cultivar we grow. You can find the detailed terpene report in the above image gallery. We also provide below a summary of the terpenes produced by this Sour Brulee Hemp Flower cultivar.

There are 5 major terpenes with 14.82mg per gram of aromatic compounds in this Sour Brulee CBD hemp flower cultivar. They are:

  • Terpinolene (5.46mg/g)
  • β-Caryophyllene (3.44mg/g)
  • Guaiol (2.31mg/g)
  • β-Myrcene (1.89mg/g)
  • Limonene (1.72mg/g)

Sour Brulee CBD Hemp Flower Organically Cultivated at Fern Valley Farms in Oregon; HHC Distillate

About HHC

As with all HHC products we offer, we urge you to practice extra caution particularly with the first use of any new product containing the HHC compound. We strongly recommend that you consume this product in very small doses (as compared to your usual consumption practices for this CBD flower cultivar). Please wait at least 30 minutes between each dosage session.

While HHC does not produce effects as pronounced as its counterpart, Delta 9 THC, the HHC compound can still produce psychotropic effects. The addition of HHC to different CBD flower cultivars will not only enhance or amplify the effects you normally enjoy when consuming that cultivar but can include other effects, including psychotropic reactions or experiences.

(To better educate yourself about HHC, we recommend our blog article “What Is HHC?” which explores this new compound in much greater detail.)

The HHC Treatment Process

When it comes to effective treatment of our premium hemp flower cultivars with a distillate of HHC, we quickly learned that the most efficient and thorough treatment can be attained through a cold infusion process. As the name “cold infusion” implies, we freeze the HHC distillate until it is completely solid. We then pulverize the frozen HHC distillate into a powder and toss it into a container with buds from the chosen hemp flower cultivar. This is then vigorously agitated so that the powdered HHC distillate evenly coats the entire flower, all the way down to the stem.

This approach results in a thorough coating of the HHC distillate throughout the treated plant matter. More significantly, the end result of the cold infusion treatment process is a purer and truer blending of the HHC compound with the cannabinoids contained in the hemp flower cultivar, all performed without the use of any solvents.

*Understanding HHC Lab Reports

Consumers interested in studying accompanying lab reports for our HHC-treated hemp flower cultivars may notice two stereoisomers connected to the HHC compound. On the lab reports, these isomers are identified as:

  • Hexahydrocannabinol (S Isomer) (9s-HHC)
  • Hexahydrocannabinol (R Isomer) (9r-HHC)

It is important to note that both isomers are potentially psychoactive. When inhaled, only the 9r-HHC isomer is psychoactive. The 9s-HHC isomer is NOT psychoactive when inhaled. (When ingested, both isomers are psychoactive.)

Consequently, we only include the amount of the 9r-HHC isomer when reporting HHC potency for our treated cultivars.

Smells and tastes good. For the hhc percentage I think the effects should be a little more potent.

  3. 3 out of 5

A little disappointed this stated to have 38% HHC so I expected a little more punch than the sour space candy I had tried before. This seemed like the buds were not evenly coated with the oil. Some buds had a buzz and others seemed very lacking. Thus I gave it a 3.

Fern Valley Farms’ customer service has been top notch. I am new to HHC and have zero complaints on FVF’s quality and experience with the products I have purchased. Give them a chance to prove it.

I ordered a quarter pound of large buds. Was sent smalls. The flower is nice. But just very disappointed about being sent the wrong product. If I wanted smalls, I would’ve bought smalls and saved myself the money.

I’m a delta 8 girl… well I’m a traditional bud girl, let’s say that… I’m 30 and been smoking since I was 14. April of 2022 I had to stop being traditional and do what was LEGAL for me in my state. I haven’t had NY issues with any drug test coming up positive with any of FVF’s flower products. Locally, I’ve had to buy after other brands of carts/vapes/gummies/edibles..1 or 2 work well and I haven’t had any issue but… I’ve failed 3 drug tests and my cap is 100 nano grams… so, I’m thinking it was an issue with fake unregulated gas station eisucst.
