Great price and Its quality flower for sure, but the description is a little misleading. This batch of the strain is completely terpenelene forward. No strawberry, no tangie, or candy. Expect racy instead of uplifting because of this.

The Strawberry Tangie Candy we grow is grown from seed, which means there can be different phenotypes within the batch. Because of that, the terpene expression can vary from plant to plant. Some phenos lean more toward the strawberry and citrus notes, while others can come through more terpinolene-forward, which may give that racier aroma and effect you described.
We did go back and check the flower again on our end, and we are still picking up some light strawberry notes, but we understand that certain phenotypes may present differently.

Opening the jar releases the smell of fruit with a tinge or citrus. Perfect cure, on exhale I can taste strawberries. This is the perfect daytime smoke for me. Fern Valley scores another knockout!

I am in my 60s. this herb will not stay lit. I mean its crazy. u will go thru a couple lighters -i did. I will never buy outdoor flower again.i wasted good money on an oz of this . just wont stay lit. unreal.

Outdoor flower can sometimes retain a bit more natural moisture than indoor, which may affect how easily it stays lit. If the flower feels slightly moist, allowing it to air out in a jar for a day or two or removing the humidity pack (if included) can help improve the burn.
We also want to note that outdoor-grown flower is cultivated to preserve its natural terpene profile and overall quality, but it can have a different moisture and burn characteristic compared to indoor.

Absolutely wonderful buds! The smell after opening the jar is exceptional. I personally smell a Fruity, sweet, berry gassy, and a slight touch of sourness when I sniff the jar. I am impressed with the quality of this flower, especially for being outdoor grown. Strawberry Tangie Candy truly is a great day time or wake up strain. I definitely feel more sativa like effects from it.
I respectfully must express my EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT with Pat C’s review. I personally feel this could negatively impact the sales of this strain and that his review was unfair. I think everyone has different tastes and preferences and therefore this strain doesn’t deserve a bad review just because it didn’t taste how he wanted it to. Everything is perfect with this strain and I don’t get any type of epoxy smell or harshness. I find that the flower is very smooth and not harsh at all.
This is a perfect strain to try for the wake and bakers or day time smokers. Don’t let the negative review impact your decision to purchase this high quality outdoor flower. I highly recommend it!

Nice sticky buds. I’m more satisfied with this than one of my recent indoor purchases; their outdoor options are always so fragrant and nicely cured.
It has the nose and smokes just like the Durban Pomegranate they use to offer, which I really enjoyed. It has an almost sour fruit smell like a pineapple.

I’ll have to respectfully disagree with the previous review. The smell is unique, but I wouldn’t call it chemical. The flavor is also peculiar, missing the sweet/fruity/berry in the description, but it’s not off putting. It’s just different compared to something like LazerWolf. I’d say it’s musky or earthy, but definitely not harsh. I’m missing a clean pine flavor I prefer, but it’s interesting either way. It may not be for everybody the way blue cheese isn’t, lol.

Shipping was on point as usual, that’s the only good thing about this in my opinion. I paid 85 before they dropped the price. It smells like epoxy, it smokes harsh, and doesn’t taste good. I would stay away.
