Here is how they describe the process:
“As a smaller commercial bee operation, we follow a strict set of guidelines with regards to how we handle our honey. For starters, we pull the honey from our hives by hand, using escape boards overnight, gently allowing bees to return to the Queen and Babies below.
Once honey is placed in our processing room, it is extracted that day by the beekeeper utilizing no heat and no filtration systems common in commercial operations. The honey is allowed to settle overnight.
From here, the honey is either bottled or sealed thus limiting degradation of honey constituents which include enzyme activity, vitamins and antioxidants present in this precious whole food.

I wish there had been a review like this before I bought this product.
I suffer from anxiety and hoped to find a way to sleep since the honey product/business I used from Massachusetts is no longer available.
This honey is too intense. I literally just tasted it.
I stirred the honey, as recommended, wiped the excess off with my index finger and licked the residue.
I suffered intense dreams, paranoia and didn’t sleep for hours.
This stuff is not good…possibly dangerous.

Obviously other reviewers find this honey wonderful and helpful for sleep, so maybe it’s just me that it affected so badly. I only used half a teaspoon (the recommended dose is one teaspoon) and within 10 minutes of taking it, a bad headache suddenly came on. As the next couple hours passed, I started feeling dizzy, jittery and nauseous. I was actually scared to drop off to sleep (which was why I bought it in the first place, to help with insomnia!) because whenever I started to doze off, I had weird frightening sensations. Everything combined, I had a terrible night and definitely won’t be using this honey again. Thankfully other people seem to have no problem with it, but if you’re a first time user, please do be careful. This stuff is obviously not for everyone and could have the opposite effect from what you’re hoping for. I’m not blaming the company in any way. I’m sure it’s a good product, just not for me.

best honey on the market! get the 16fl oz and whip that spoon in there , give a nice twirl to get it on the spoon, dip it in your hot tea water, within minutes and stir its dissolved!, sweeten to your liking! it will have a ‘taste’ if you use a lot, imo its not bad though. seasoned pothead recommeneds this!

On my second bottle. I’ve found for me that taking it approximately 1.5 to 2 hours before bedtime is best for me. It’s amazing. I also take half a teaspoon before outings because I have social anxiety helps me relax and not freak out.
