Our Beekeeping Colleagues

We are thrilled to associate with local beekeepers who practice ethical and caring methods for honey collection.

Here is how they describe the process:

“As a smaller commercial bee operation, we follow a strict set of guidelines with regards to how we handle our honey. For starters, we pull the honey from our hives by hand, using escape boards overnight, gently allowing bees to return to the Queen and Babies below.

Once honey is placed in our processing room, it is extracted that day by the beekeeper utilizing no heat and no filtration systems common in commercial operations. The honey is allowed to settle overnight.

From here, the honey is either bottled or sealed thus limiting degradation of honey constituents which include enzyme activity, vitamins and antioxidants present in this precious whole food.

    I’m truly grateful for the rapid service. I try to get the timing right when it comes to shipping things to me. Once I notice that my honey order was stuck in transit due to weather elsewhere, I quickly placed another order rush delivery.     I’m only giving them a 3 because of the taste the taste is horrible. But once you get past the taste the overall effects are good, relaxing and calming. I actually had chose auto ship but cancelled. Let me know if you improve the taste I will purchase again.

Our THC honey is made with local raw honey, which naturally has a richer and more complex flavor compared to store-bought honey. This is because it retains its natural qualities, unlike mass-produced honey that is typically pasteurized and filtered.

      We also use Delta 9 distillate, which introduces a subtle flavor difference, although it shouldn’t be overpowering. Many of our customers find that it pairs well when stirred into hot tea, or spread on toast or fruit.
