We have to admit that we are equally curious and excited about the latest legal cannabinoid to enter the marketplace. We are talking about THC-O and because it is still quite new, we are still learning what this compound can offer. However, our initial foray into this new cannabinoid territory has convinced us that THC-O has a legitimate and important place on your shelf of wellness products.

Most of the hoopla over THC-O stems from the fact that this compound has the capacity of creating psychedelic states (with higher dosages). While this particular trait of THC-O catches our interest, we are more fascinated that this compound actually offers multiple levels of effects, depending upon the quantity you consume in a session. Meet THC-O!

THC-O IS SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT THAN OTHER CANNABINOIDS! For your first time consuming this THC-O distillate, we recommend you begin low and slow. With a potency of almost 70%, each milliliter is packing a highly influential 700mg of THC-O. This means squeezing out 1/10th of a milliliter gives you a sizeable 70mg of THC-O to consume, more than enough for most consumers.

When first consuming this product, please wait at least 30 minutes (preferably one hour) before consuming more THC-O or other cannabinoids. By limiting your experience to the THC-O distillate alone, you are better able to assess its full effects on you. As with any cannabinoid, each person responds differently. While we can report general effects experienced by other consumers, your own experience may differ greatly.

Using THC-O Distillate

One of the main reasons we deliver our THC-O distillate in syringes is the ease with which you can use it. You will find the consistency of this distillate to be similar to a light oil; it will express quite easily with a minimum of pressure.

We also include a screw-on cap that we recommend you keep on the tip of the syringe, only removing it when you wish to express a portion of the THC-O distillate. This ensures that your distillate remains pure and clean each time you use it.

How to Use THC-O

A great advantage of THC-O in a distillate form is the variety of methods you can employ to consume it. The most popular ways to consume THC-O distillate include:

• Cooking and Baking – it is easy to add drops to any recipe and works as effectively as cannabinoid-infusion techniques without requiring extra labor and attention
• Orally – add a drop or two to bread or a piece of fruit; if mixing into a beverage, stick with warm and hot drinks so it remains blended with the liquid longer
• Smoking – you can treat a CBD bud with a droplet (let it dry before grinding!) or smear the distillate across rolling papers when making joints
• Sublingually – place a drop or two under the tongue, and it will be delivered to your endocannabinoid system the same way a tincture is
• Vaporizing – any device designed to consume concentrated materials will work; you can add it to a cartridge but we cannot guarantee the reliability of any selected cartridge

Once again we want to emphasize the potentially stronger and different effects that THC-O can deliver; we have no other cannabinoid to which we can fairly compare THC-O effects. Consequently, we urge extra caution when consuming this highly potent and unusually effective product.

Possible Effects From THC-O

As already mentioned, there are three types of effects that you can experience when consuming THC-O, as follows:

• Sub-Perceptual Effects – a minimal dose will not produce noticeable effects
• Psychoactive Effects – a moderate dose can create psychotropic effects
• Psychedelic Effects – a large dose can create psychedelic effects

Please note that different circumstances and environments can change effects and results, while different methods of consumption can deliver THC-O more effectively and faster than other methods.

When consumed in its purest form by vaporizing, expect a mild earthy flavor. Just a small puff with a vaporizer can produce strong vapor clouds, so again we urge you to exercise caution when vaporizing THC-O distillate. When consumed in foods or drinks, its flavor is mild enough that stronger flavors will likely mask the earthy taste. When adding to a fresh CBD hemp flower strain, expect it to slightly deepen and enhance the existing strain flavors.

Toning Down THC-O Effects

Despite precautions, do not be surprised if once in a while you find yourself overwhelmed by the effects of THC-O. It can easily happen for a variety of reasons but fortunately, there are multiple tactics you can employ to counter such a situation, including:

• Breathing – controlled breathing can slow a racing heart and calm a disturbed mind
• CBD – a great way to offset THC effects (Delta 8 and 9 plus THC-O) happens to be CBD
• Furry Friends – getting comfort from the cats and dogs in your home can be very calming
• Hydrate – avoid dehydration by keeping a good supply of fresh water at your side
• Lemon Juice – the calming limonene terpene found in lemon juice can ease anxiety
• Pine Nuts – famous for helping you calm down, thanks to its high pinene content
• Talk – connecting with a friend or family member can give you assurance and a new outlook
• Walk – getting outside and moving around in the fresh air can ground you

Once you find what works best for you (often a combination of the above tips), be sure to have a ready supply for those times you may need it. Over time, you will learn to better manage your consumption of THC-O distillate, leading to fewer overwhelming experiences.
